What makes this the best free online CV maker for the UAE market?

It combines 10 genuinely different, professionally structured layouts (not just recolored copies), an ATS keyword match checker so you can tailor your CV to a specific job description, and a live CV strength score — all free, with no account needed.

Will my CV pass an ATS (Applicant Tracking System)?

The ATS-Safe layout uses a single-column, text-only structure that parses cleanly in standard applicant tracking systems. The built-in ATS match checker also compares your CV against a job description and highlights any important keywords you are missing.

Is my personal data stored anywhere?

No. Your CV is built entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server, and the only place your draft is saved is your own device, using your browser's local storage.

Can I use this CV maker on my phone?

Yes. The builder is fully responsive, so you can create, edit, and download your CV from a phone, tablet, or desktop.

This free CV maker is built for people applying to jobs in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the rest of the UAE. Pick one of 10 CV templates, fill in your details once, check your CV against a job description, and download it as a PDF. There is no sign-up and no watermark, and your details stay in your own browser.

How to make your CV with this tool

  1. Choose a template. Start with the ATS-safe layout if you will apply through job portals or company career sites.
  2. Fill in the UAE details first: visa status, current location, notice period and contact number with country code (for example +971 50 123 4567).
  3. Add your experience, newest job first, with one or two results per job, such as “cut invoice processing time from 5 days to 2”.
  4. Paste the job description into the ATS checker and add any important keywords you actually have.
  5. Download the PDF and name it FirstName-LastName-CV.pdf before you upload it.

What a UAE CV should include

UAE recruiters look for a few details that CVs written for other countries often leave out. Add them near the top so they’re seen in the first few seconds:

  • Visa status: for example “Employment visa (transferable)”, “Visit visa valid until 15 Dec 2026”, “Cancelled visa, available immediately” or “Outside the UAE”. Employers use this to judge hiring cost and speed.
  • Nationality: commonly included in the UAE, because some roles and visa quotas depend on it. Leave it out if you’d rather not share it; it’s not a legal requirement.
  • Current location: the emirate or country you’re in now.
  • Availability / notice period: “Immediate” or “30 days’ notice”. Shorter availability is a real advantage.
  • Photo: optional. Many UAE CVs include a professional headshot, and customer-facing roles often expect one. If you add one, use a plain background and business clothing; otherwise leave it out.
  • UAE driving licence: mention it if you have one. Many sales, field and logistics roles require it.

Keep the CV to one or two pages, use a simple layout with standard headings so applicant tracking systems (ATS) can read it, and save it as a PDF named like FirstName-LastName-CV.pdf.

Common CV mistakes UAE recruiters see

  • No visa status or notice period, so the recruiter cannot tell how quickly you can join.
  • A phone number without the country code, or a number that is switched off.
  • Personal details that do not belong on a CV, such as passport number, Emirates ID number or salary history.
  • Long paragraphs instead of short bullet points with results.
  • The same CV sent to every job. Read our guide on tailoring your CV to a job description.
